UK Owners.......Wanna meet up?
Hey Guys,
I know there's a few of us UK owners making ourselves known on the other thread. I thought i'd start a thread to just discuss the possibility of us all having a meet somewhere down the line?
I personally would like to meet up with others, compare cars etc cos I never get the chance round my way :-(
So what do you reckon???
State your location and if you'd like to meet, suggest a venue for us all :-)

well perhaps us northerners could head south a little and the southerners could head north a little? Anyone know any good inbetween spots?
BTW, just spied some prodrive stuff for sale on ebay, namely the spoiler and one door mirror...... IN GREY!!, suffice to say they are no longer for sale :-P & my PZ wheels are due in on thursday too! :-D
Just thought i'd brag a little. She's getting lowered on Eibach's and new ignition leads along with a Seafoaming on Sat.... that means no car all day saturday :-( also means i've got no money :-( and i still need that last mirror tho, but good things come to those who wait..........

Okie dokie,
Seeing as we're starting to tott up some numbers, lets set a date?
I'd say in the new year would be best, to give ppl who will be traveling time to sort stuff out, £££, routes etc, say Saturday 23rd Jan, that should give ppl plenty of time to arrange stuff, probably meet around 3pm?
I reckon we should meet at the Cat & Fiddle Pub, then have a few soft drinks, maybe some food, then hit the road, the road made just for the RX8 :-) .... Snake Pass.
If the 23/1/10 is no good for ppl, let me kno and suggest an alternate date :-)

Cat & Fiddle: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...08647&t=h&z=12
Whos up for that then?

Hi Mark, GSB and Sean and Rob and Dee?
Not a bad date, Saturday usually means footy... 4th round of the FA Cup, but we'll probably have been knocked out or playing away or playing Sunday for the TV!
Snake Pass was the first journey I had in the REX... purchased in Sheffield! Great trip home.
The Annual meet was great... watch out for pesky slippy bits on the road and the cyclists.
Sounds like a good trip in the making.

Hey guys,
Just a quick update with regards to our meet, i've started a thread on the RX8 Owners Club UK website, so we could perhaps get more hits and confirmations, I'd definatly suggest joining www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk, there are lots of meets all over the country, see the new topic here: http://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum...p?f=18&t=28466
I'll still post some updates on this thread,
Thanks :-)

Ok folks,
I've finally cracked it, a nice simple route, along great driving roads, hopefully in good weather
I've got the directions sorted thanks to google maps
Plans for the day
• Meet at the Ladybower Inn @ approx 10.30am
• Leave the Ladybower Inn no later than 11.15am
• Run the route, should take about 1½ hours max
• Back to the Ladybower for some food
Enjoy the day!
