W00t I'd pay a Fiver more for a 240ps one , thats over the 231ps machine o'course...

Edit :- Damned website still has 240ps plastered all over it. Surely got to be some problem with that uinless they've got a disclaimer somewhere?

Read the Ts+Cs boys...

They can change *anything* and reserve the right to do so.
Lets be thankful it is only 6bhp and a fiver !
(237bhp-231bhp and £21,995-£22,000)

231ps = 227.8bhp

240ps = 236.7bhp

250ps = 246.5bhp

So thats 19Bhp down on the US version, with lower than previously advertised gas milage and higher weight.

And some git will charge me £500 to remap the ECU

IDEA!

Let's wait for the official letter to pre-orders around the end of this month stating the specs and performance figures and then write a letter or email to Mazda UK expressing our dispeasure at the RX8 TT beater becoming a TT loser.

Is this the car we were expecting

If not, lets say so and why

Cheers

Is the MPG figure better as a result of less power ?

Roger that! My options are very much open again. Until this weekend I was 90:10% RX-8/350Z but now I'm 50:50 again. Seeing the cars (AT LAST) this saturday at Millbrook will be a revelation I'm sure. The power, build quality and road presence of the 'Z' is becoming mightily enticing though. If only the damned thing had sat/nav in this country then it might be no contest.
