No, I feel the information flow has been at the correct level and quantity - everything else is just speculation.

Question Would you feel happier if Mazda UK formally apologised for the delay in a letter?

Ok, we've had different polls, but this one is relating to the misinformation out there and a chance to put things right. Some of us were told ON OUR ORDER FORMS that the car would be delivered in June/July this year, not as ETAs, but actually. This was in February. We've now seen emails from Mazda today refuting this, and saying this was always going to be September.

Well I for one am unhappy with this, as this info, if it were true didn't filter down to T W Whites in Weybridge, and if it did then the dealer knowingly lied on the order form.

So, there IS a lot of speculation out there, who agrees that Mazda UK should write a letter (perhaps with the formal delivery date) which points out exactly why these dates didn't happen? That way, a lot of these points will be out in the open, and Mazda have a chance to wipe the slate clean with those of us who have owned Mazdas for 5+ years and not been subject to this level of misinformation and being kept in the dark regarding dates etc. It also allows us with insider information to double check this info and ensure that it is all kosher and above board.

Overall, a win-win situation, I feel

An apology from Mazda is the least they owe all of those left hanging on for the car.

Good help them if I ever get a problem with.

ok, who voted against, and why? I'm interested. A little surprised, but interested. I wonder how many are mazda employees thats all. JimBobJoe can find out wanyway, not that I would ask him to betray his moderator status, but only to tease out the reasonings against.

I think an apology and an explaination would of been the least they could have done in the circumstances. Rather than burying there head in the sand!

Perhaps we would be more tolerable and patient then.

I may indeed be a powerful and fearsome moderator, but I'm not omnipotent. Not yet anyway.
So I can't tell who votes for what in a poll. Nor would I want to anyway. Nor would you want me to anyway. So we're all happy then.:D

Polls are anonymous as far as I can tell, and that's how it should be.

If you don't like the choices people make, don't ask the question !

Personally I agree that even if July wasn't promised as a delivery date, Mazda UK allowed us to believe that.

But they're not going to apologise, and I for one am cannot be bothered anymore.

All I want to know now is:
Will the car arrive on time
Will it have all the horses it should have
Will the MPG as advertised be achievable
Will the accessories be reasonably priced
Will I be updated on a REGULAR basis as to the progress of my order

P.S. I haven't voted on the poll yet so it wasn't me :p

What was the point of the preorder website asking what month you want delivery, if it was always going to be september.

Also I thought Mazda said they were writing a letter to the forum.

I voted no but I don't agree with the rest of the option. I don't think the inforation flow has been anywhere good enough but a written apology makes bugger all difference to me now - it's too late in the day and we actually know where we stand to a certain degree. I'm prepared to let it lie.

I voted no as in answer to your question a letter from Mazda would not make be feel any differently to the organisation. However, with my live and let live attitute to life I am sure to forget and forgive when my car arrives.
