I've stayed at the Concorde Hotel KLIA and although it's very near Sepang Circuit (abt 8 mins' drive) it's not worth the rate. It's more like a hostel, a 3-star hotel? ..... with toilets having separate hot and cold faucets instead of a mixer type... I would recommend Hotel Equatorial, Bangi (5-star) and check out its promo rate of RM220 with a RM80 F&B voucher. It is however about 25 mins drive from the circuit.

That's a good question... According to the hotel Concorde has 24hour security at the entrance of an open space carpark. So i assume its pretty much safe....

I have stayed at both Pan Pac and Equatorial and they are both about 5-star rating. Concorde is at least 2 stars fewer. Parking at the Concorde is in the open at an unpaved lot (if they have not improved it). We parked our cars at the open carpark without any mishap during our last stay. On the other hand both Pan Pac and Equatorial offer good secure parking at RM15 and RM10 per day respectively at the hotel front, otherwise free at their usual guests' carparks. Hope this info helps.

I am sorry I can't confirm my participation now but will let you know as soon as I can get a day off on 10th Jun. When I can join you guys I shall be able to help you (only if you need help) with convoying as I'm familiar with the way to Sepang. But as I can see, you already have it nicely planned

Thanks for info again! Yea, I checked with all the hotels oredi..... Pan Pacific is almost SGP$200 per nite..... although its nice. I actually could get Corporate rate for Le Meridian hotel for SGP$125, which is a fantastic hotel, but its too far from Sepang. What I am afraid of is the Traffic Jam... so this time chose a hotel that is really near by the Sepang. Next time I will book Equatorial.... book it in advance if all of us can confirm early =)

so far the review that i got from some of my friends and members, the most recommended hotel is actually hilton. Supposedly has a barrier in front of every lot and after 12p.m. they will use a van to block the entrance/exit. Only thing is costly but as they have all said its worth it.

If there is someone that can get coporate rate that would be good.

 

bro, Hilton is in the same compound as Le Meridian. In fact they share the same facilities like Gym, pool etc as they are one big building connected to each other. The entrance to Hilton and Le Meridian is the same one..... I can get corporate for Le Meridian, but I am afraid of the Jam in the morning... and we could be late for track.
