It will help you tune the car with the proper AFR and you will get more hp out of it.

Yes it is better to know your AFR with FC because it will give you an idea of how rich or lean your car is.. To lean and you could blow your engine.

Check it out - a forum dedicated to the subject .

You can't improve much on FC because Mazda already did a good job with that .

What gadget to use?

My friend has an SAFC to tune his car's AFR
so does that work with our 8
or is there any other better gadget to use to control the AFR?

Is ScangaugeII able to monitor AFR?
If Scangauge is ablt to monitor AFR, can I use it to control or tune the AFR to our 8?

SAFC does not work on rx8. If you want real time reliable and convenient monitoring of your afr, get a wide band o2 sensor & gauge, such as the innovate xd-16 stand alone kit. If you want to control or tune the afr, get an interceptor-x, or motec, or any stand alone ecu that's compatible with rx8. However, make sure you know what you are doing if you are tuning it yourself.

I did ECU remapped by KnightSport did they lean the AFR a bit like Racing Beat does?

I heard of another gadget Blitz's I-fit or I-Vit that just need to plug it in like scangauge II that controls AFR. Does that work?

Anyway thx bros for all the advice.
