Anyone got stuck on a hump?

Anyone got stuck going over a hump of crest of a slope? Lowered and/or underbody brace? Stock?

I just got scratched underbody going over the crest at golden mile carpark. Lowered about 1 finger front with veilside kit. Only wife and me in car.

I ever got stuck till almost cannot move with 3 or 4 people in my old civic years ago. The passengers have to get off so i can move.

Ya...... last sunday when golden mile for Thai food with my wife, daughter & maid got scratched underbody going enter the carpark and i didnt even lower my car...

I think have to go really slow...... Another place is King Albert MacDonald Drive Thru.... I think you really have to park and buy instead... The exit slope is more then 45 degree...

my car is much lower compare to others? I do not know why but its around 1inch lower.

I always got stuck when I use the mulit storey carpark. especially those with Humps right at the end of a slope.

Even when I go over it very very very slowly, the sound of my car brushing the hump is still quite loud,, How I hope that I had hydraulic suspension (like those of Range Rover) where I can raise and lower the car height as I wish.

I have tt experience with my Mazda 3.. fully kitted.. just a normal hump will set my heart beating and sweat getting ready to trickle.. The screeeeeching sound simply spoils my day and sets me pondering why i had choosen to put a kit on it and my suspension lowered..

That explains why my 8 doesnt have clothes on...

Tan280: Is it those god-damn heavy vehicle hump?

Morgan: I thought yours is already lowered?

How come they do not have a standard height for humps; some so high and so so low. Typical LTA sloppiness.

No man, its original. but my MM car is in its original condition, its 1inch lower than other MM cars.

GOOD: looks good cos no need to spend money on Springs
BAD: got to drive slowly everytime I pass over a hump

Only tein has those suspension that allows the driver to raised and lower the car, and this suspension are for MPV only? they do not made such suspension for saloon or sports car.

There are pneumatic ones selling in the states. Saw them in import tuner. But i do not think they are road usable; most probably for show cars only.

Actually to design something to raise the car alittle is not too difficult; maybe the market is too small to justify making one.
