Anyone from Thailand?

Really? I knew that some car models like Mercedes is much more expensive in Singapore. How much is the price of RX-8 in Singapore anyway?
May I declare we have the most expensive RX-8 in the world? Haha

It's 3,750,000 Baht or US$93,750. The car is pretty expensive here.

Holly Crap!!! That is very expensive. To own RX8, one must be pretty well off.
In Canada, the price starts at $36,795 in Canadian Dollar. I am glad that I live in Canada because I could never be able to afford and drive the RX8 in Thailand.
(I am mixed Thai and Chiness!!!)

Here in Mauritius a parallel import cost about US$72,000.
Thank heavens it is rated as a 1300 cc. If it was say a 2000 cc it would have been around US$97,000 as import duties depend on cylinder capacity.

I didn't know abou the extra cooler but I don't think it can help with the heat in the cabin. I sold my car for 2.2 million Baht. That's a huge drop from the original price of 3.75 million Baht, 24 monhts ago.
Gyus if you don't know what the numbers are about. Here you go
Original Price: USD $93,750
Current Price: USD $55,000

Yikes that's quite a drop..
Got this from from SEC (Parallel import), basic price 3.3 million, plus insurance, interest, yadda yadda, adds up to a bit more than that :p
Cabin heat? Well, today was actually very hot, inside was not really a problem, aircond could handle it pretty well. The car is white, and there's V-kool tinting, so maybe that helps too...
Engine compartment was really really hot after driving for a while though! I know rotaries do run hotter than piston engines, but what a heat wave when I opened the bonnet!

Hello from Phuket, Thailand!
RX8Mania-
You sold your ride already? Aww! Was it M or A? Quoting your stated price of 3.7 mill. Baht I presume it's a M. I bought an A souped up with MS bodykit for 3.5 Mill. thru' a grey. I used to have the heat problem as well, but now, somehow, it's pretty much gone! First I thought that maybe it's just a fact that I got used to it (the heat), but it really is much cooler now... somehow.
Drove it to Bkk and back without any heating problems and DAMNNNN! IT WAS FUN! (aside from the shitty road conditions and the *#%@ drivers in our beloved Country)
I envy the guy who got your 8... whatta bargain!

From: Brunei: Where Ricers show off their fugly rides
i think there's no proper mazda dealer in Thailand just like in Brunei. Here they manage to sell more than 30 units, but the aftersales service is really damn sucks.
The price for RX-8 Type S here is B$54K at par with SGD.
