Brake stopper needed on 8!

Hi all,

Like to share a little something i heard from a mechanic that has just came back from Japan. He said that some of the Japanese in Mazda told him our brake assembly that holds the brake fluid (obviously, duh... :D) that is mounted on the firewall in the engine bay is kinda flimsy (spelling?).

He actually showed me by depressing the brakes strongly a couple of times and i actually saw the brake assembly(or wadever u call it) moves violently. It is a problem especially for those who do hard driving! Thus, the friendly folks in Mazda (Japan) has advised him that a brake stopper is definitely required for the 8 as can be seen in the MazdaSpeed strut which already has them welded + blended nicely.

Carbing has actually produced a strut bar for our 8 which also includes the brake stopper! GOes for about 400+. Quite nice actually!

Just my 5 cents worth...However, the cover has to go after intsllation! Or maybe u can saw it to fit....:P
