CD Player
Today went to see my SE to talk on the freebies that they are giving me. Initially they offer me a 6cd changer which will be mount behind the boot, but because due to the nature of my job i need the boot space to be at the maximum.
I told my SE to just give me 1 CD Player so no need to mount the CD changer behind. To my surprise he told me that it is even more expensive to do that. I was stunt!!!
Anyone can advise me on what should i do? Force it thru and demand for the 1 CD Player or just stick with the CD Changer? Is there any alternative place to mount the changer else where in the car?

Hey man,
Could you share how big/bulky the items you'll be putting in your boot are? I've got a similar cd changer mounted in my boot but recently managed to squeeze a big luggage case in just milimetres from the rim of the boot.

Maybe you can try first with an empty luggage bag before your next move? Mine was a really tight fit (at least 40-50cm) but it went in snug and didn't hit the cd-changer.

It is cheaper cos the 6 disc changer in the boot is the kind that plugs into head unit via the radio antenna($300+). For the single CD player in the front, need to get from Mazda($500+).

Interestingly enough, I only used the radio/CD player once or twice during the first week after collecting my 8. Nothing beats the sweeeet sound of the rotary (and intake valves) as the revs climb...priceless.

If it is not in written agreement, nuttin much other than to go set their display on fire, and getting yourself into **** with the law. The best you can do now is state the name of the PI you bought it from, so others will avoid it.

Most PIs realize how important reputation is to stay in business.. so this may work for you. But you have to speak to the boss.
