DTC for Autos
Good morning brothers and sisters,
As you know for the Autos RX8, they do not come with DTC( Traction control).
Possible to get a aftermarket one to fit one on our Auto?
By the way, can anyone explain what do they mean by 1 way, 1.5 and 2 ways ??
Cheers !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe its DSC (Dynamic Stability Control). Some people like while others don't. Some like it because it can make a car relatively safer to drive as it will be harder to spin out or lose control. On the other hand, its way harder to drift, do wheelspins and such with it on.
And imo, a DSC makes a amature feel like a pro driver, and he may take unneccessary risks which may be obove the DSC capability and get into trouble. Without the DSC, at least you will know the cars limits and back off when neccessary.
And i believe if you often drive hard, the DSC will cause uneven wear on the tyres and brakes. Those with DSC can check their rear passenger tyres and see what i mean.
I feel that rather than get a DSC, its better to upgrade the LSD (Limited slip differential) instead. AT cars are fitted with a normal LSD while MT are fitted with the super-LSD which is more reactive.
LSD works to transfer torque to the tyre with the higher grip and reduce drag on the slower wheel.
1, 1.5 and 2 way refers to the LSD. 1 way for acceleration and 2 way for deceleration. A 1.5 is a 2-way with different lock-up ratio betwen the acceleration and deceleration. i.e.e it locks more during acceleration than deceleration.
