Bro,
U can laugh all you want I just want to have more alternative. No offense.
Most Rx8 in the states are using Royal Purple and no one reported engine problem. If Rx7 can use RP with no problems, I can't see why it can't work for Rx8. I know so bros here are using it. Please kindly share with us.

What's your experience with Castrol?

IMO, 10W40 is the best for our engine. It is not too thin or thick. I thought W20 is abit too thin??? The v rough idles may be due to using thin oil or the owner 'loot' the car too often. Just my view... Just wanted to share with Bros here that Royal Purple is good and affordable (more cost efficient).

Just put in FP60 yesterday, shock dosage . after 1/4 tank of so, farkin amazing lor, car has never felt so energized or responsive. now onto 2nd full tank (drove alot today hunting for property)
just went to check my engine oil - where last time is was brownish, now totally pitch black - seems FP60 has gotten rid of a lot of carbon. gonna do servicing soon siah

travis - read about FP60 here http://www.lubecontrol.com/fuel.htm
I'll be writing a review, but now too soon - maybe from 3rd petrol fillup onwards. but the smoothness and 'butt' gain is noticeable - most importantly the consistency in performance is back. last time it was a case of heng suay whether the car performs tip top for the day - sometimes its sluggish, sometimes it wasn't. Now, 3rd day on, seems as the car is performing at its peak consistently

Juz for info on engine oil choice.
Do use "ONLY" oil recommended for rotary engine oil. You do not wan2 replace ur engine like i do.
Even ur following oil change interval u won't know something is wrong, when my ngines gave way, only 1 rotor was powering my car, tat too came to grinding halt after a while !!!
For those who insist on using other engine oil, juz dun regret, n u r always welcome to my club of 13b breakers !

Muscle - Texas Revolution Titanium (www.texaslub.com) - a made in Singapore oil. coz of it, my radiator reserve tank also piang. luckily i used it for less than a couple of hundred km, then change to rotary oil.
when it comes to oil, dun be too adventurous, stick to tried and tested. You are lucky in that all the laochiaos here have done all the guinea-pigging in the early days, so when pple advise you, accept it humbly

lawreo, do a google i think you can find a local source and contact details. Do some research first before you plunge in like i am doing - so far only been used in the US, some of them swear by it and have used it for 50k+ so to me this is a calculated risk, not plunging in blindly.
