what i meant was if it is an auto 8 compared to 2, 3 or gts.
at the moment i think the auto 8 will lose out to mazda 6 - 2.3

Definitely. But think the upcoming 6 MPS will kick RX8's butt. Maybe they will do a RX8 MPS too(there is no reason why they should not)...but may not be for general market...

at 280ps it draws lots of attention. if i were driving that car will have to try those in the league like B4 RSK or VR4. wonder what it would be like in a 20B? hmmm...
i am quite confident that it will sell very well but will have to depend on the price if its only a tad more. at the moment starting to see lots of 2 and 3 on the road. looks like people would rather pay a bit more for looks... may spell a downward trend for corollas and sunnys.

For that price, why not try the Subaru Legacy 2.0 GT?
Road tax for less than 2000 cc, turbo car with great acceleration, nice interior (looks continental) and exterior, excellent handling with AWD, great comfort for both front and rear passengers, quiet, good MacIntosh sound system, sunroof etc... all for $120+K.

Try looking for a VI if you are interested in previous versions. Nicer looking and much more superior performance.
