FS GPS: Holux GPSmile60 Navigator + KingMap Software
2 months old Holux GPSmile60 Navigator + KingMap Software FS
- Still under warranty, full box, accessories and receipt
- KingMap software 3D voice nav
- Intel PXA270 416mhz
- 64MB ROM + 64MB RAM
- SiRF Star III+
- Default landscape mode, great for cars
- Car charger
- Car mount
This is a voice navigation system with the latest map, and one of the most powerful GPS chips that tracks 24 satellites (unlike 8 satellites for Tibo). Acqusition of sat signal is super fast, under a minute on startup. Also, you can use it to watch movies, check email & surf the net (with SD wifi card), and even use it as a OBD-II CAN analyzer with the appropriate kit.
Bought at $799

EyeBall_Fixer, his package includes the KingMap software (I presume it's Singapore maps) which by itself already cost $199 (retail) here. He might have been able to get it slightly cheaper if he looked real hard but he definitely didn't get RIPPED. Anyway, he didn't post a selling price, just the price that he paid for it. So it's still down to how much the item is worth to the prospective buyer. If anyone doesn't think it's worthwhile, just move along. upz

eyeball fixer,
his price is in Singapore $ which is US$500. which includes local maps, installation and 1 year warranty.
what u get on e-bay does not
include all these as well as
freight n handling charges.
imo, he paid a fair price for it.
anyway, i think a local sale is more suited in this case.

Thanks guys! yup, the cost i bought it at is around US$500. So far, the highest bid i've received is $490 (US$306). Brand new from the shops (stock is v limited), expect to pay in excess of $799 for the unit, KingMap, and screen protector. The unit alone sells for $699. It's far cheaper than the crap Tibo car shops are selling.
But whether you get it 2nd hand from me or brand new, i still highly recommend it. Holux makes the best GPS units around, and are the OEM for major jap and euro nav systems. Unlike other PDA-based solutions, the holux case is made out of temp resistant plastic, so no issues for me so far in sunny Singapore.
Am selling to save up for an exhos i've been eyeing
