Yes... that answer my question. Defi does not do them in the factory and need to mod them. I see.....

The digital display can scroll if you like and can display 2 things at a time. Yes it is green and does not look as good as the gauges.

I guess I just have to hold my breath and get the RE pod when I get the Defi meters....

I saw Defi package - oil temp/pressure and water temp and control unit for A$900. Cheap?

good deal. However to put water temp, u need a hose joint. To put oil temp n oil press, u need oil adapter. Bet they din include this in.

but then, they still gave u a good deal. REAL CHEAP!!! with indicator lamp somemore!

Hey Morgan, I thought you said you wanted to buy Pivot gauges? Did I poison you to change over to Defis? Please confirm if S$1080 is for the 3 Defi gauges and not Pivot gauges.

Yes I forgot to about the adapter when I was in Japan.

I think the price of the adapter is around $20+ for water and oil temp and $40 for oil pressure.

Yes the S$1080 is for all 3 defi gauges + Defi Shift lamp.

After some though, it would still be better to buy in Singapore cos the adapters are around $80 extra. so that makes the total price to be S$1160.
S$1160 exclude installation, installation is around S$20-30 per gauge. so expected to fork out a min of S$1160 + S$80-100 = S$1260 for the total cost.

in Singapore the total price for 3 gauges + shift lamp is S$1400+

So I will only save S$150-200 if bought the gauges in Japan and install in Singapore.

In conclusion. I bought the Pivot gauges instead.
many told me that delfi has a better resale value. but I went for the pivot cos its much cheaper $996 for all 3 gauges and furthur more I intend to have the gauges and car for e next 9+ years. And I can change 7 different back light color on the gauges.

It's basically a replacement radiator hose made of silicon but with a "tap" for the water temp gauge sensor so u dont need the adapter.

Does anybody have Blitz Racing Meter DC II gauges? They're only 2 cm thick, I'm interested in how they function with the Live Unit. Can view them at http://www.blitz-sg.com/sg/content/view/17/44/

I got my Pivot gauages installed.

Even when alot of friends and some relatives told me to buy the delfi gauages due to better resale value.

But I just LOVE the Pivot Gauges.

Cos it can change its back ground to 7 different colors.
I have have 3 different colors on 3 different gauges and change the color combinations every day.
and its also easiler to read the readings on the gauage under bright daylight hen compared to the Delfi ones.
I intend to have the gauages for as long as I hav the car. so lower resale values is not my main concern.
