HKS Racing Suction Reloaded

This is the new Air-Intake from HKS for the RX8, replacing the 1st version.
Anyone knows what are the changes and improvement over the 1st version?

The only improvement is the actual filter. The same filter element will work with the reloaded. It was designed to get a little bit more airflow through the pipes. I'll try to post pics of it later..

Hi B, if the improvements are only related to the filter itself than I'd say marketing BS , but I gather improvements also apply to the lip funnel and inner/outer frame. In that case, I'm going to upgrade....and then replace my avatar

True, not as completely efficient as CAI, but short ram intake is oso ok...no hydra lock for sure

Besides the aluminum back plate, the new reloaded filters also include a new cage design (about 30% more flow area), outer edge ring for easier filter replacement & improved sealing and a new 3-layer dry filter element.

Well, I just installed the HKS Racing Suction Reloaded & the Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust.
Both combi seems good and the sound when you rev the engine is.."WOW" ! .... and when you start your engine ..u will hear a low bass exhaust sound. Cool !
