Anyone who ordered from HYCarz got their rx8 yet? I ordered in Jan 07 and initially they told me latest by end of Mar I will get my car. Now still haven't come. Best part is earlier 4 weeks ago they lied abt the car being @ sg port but now say no car. Asked them when can deliver they say end apr but refuse to write it down.

Is it me only or everyone else who ordered from them have not got theirs yet?

I dun mind waiting but at least I feel they should tell me the reason for delay. Now they are keeping mum. Bad service.

I only know of 1 member, RX-EGG, whom I had corresponded with thru PM. He got his ride from HYCARZ in Jan 07. The agent I spoke with in Mar did mention to me that they are having kind of a supply problem at the moment. Due to some restrictions at Japan's side.

I got my car from Hycars book in oct. got it in dec.

Got supply problem must explain to customer mah. We all bound by contract they scared of us running away meh? Dun explain how to make us customer understand and put us @ ease. The more lies they tell, the worst I feel about getting car from them.

Restriction @ Japan so all rx8 are alike and got delayed?

I knew of acidx getting his car from them and got it quite fast as promise that is why I went to them too.

Who from Hycarz car did you deal with? (meaning who lied to you about the car being in the port?). I had spoken to Hycarz and they wanted to show me one of the new RX8 that would come in late Mar. As of now, they are telling me the car is in the port.

Glad to hear that finally someone is willing to voice out. I have my share of bad experiences from Hycars. I got my 8 from them 10 months ago and on the 2nd day I noticed that the rubber strip on the booth area is torn and a photo of it was taken. I called in to request for a replacement and they requested a for Item Number on the rubber strip. How was i suppose to know that a simple rubber strip at the booth would have a Item Number? I waited and waited, till today there is no reply from them. This is just a normal rubber strip which is easily replaced and does not cost much. It really worries me to why they are so unreluctant to replace this small part. Luckily it was just a simple rubber piece, If it was a much more expensive part, i dread to think of the outcome. I prolly wont be doing any business with Hycars in future.

hmmm sounds bad... if it was a engine problem due to the manufacturer... jialats man... i think they prolly would just give a silly excuse to try and void your warranty like... "you revved the engine above 3k RPM, warranty is voided" lol?

They are more interested in Sales then replacement. They throw them to the 3rd party workshop and "bo-chap" or "Mai-Chap" (Dont care)

After sales services is important in SINGAPORE market, as is very small market here. All this post and bad mouth will affect their company.

10months to return to you and still no replacement for just rubber is very fcuking (learn to spell FCUK from a fashion branding) jialats PI.

PIs with real problems with transparency and honesty:
- WOW: Rip pple money; CBT; COE games
- HY: Cheap, but you must open eyes wide when booking - if it ain't on paper it doesn't exist. Also, servicing shop Sportswagen sux
- HYCarz: worse than HY, same supply source. Dishonest and money grubbing

I can attest that WOW sucks big time!

From what i know from my collegue, you did not purchase a RX8 from WoW, instead, it's your friend.
So stop defaming my company without a good valid reason.
It's really childish and absurd.

Ashley, we have very very good reasons to talk about WOW - go ask Jimmy. Don't know about CoupeM but should you ever blast me the way you blasted him, you'd better have a very good lawyer. My advice - just clam up otherwise this thread will grow into a 'why not WOW' discussion.

To be honest, don't care if its WOW, Huayang or Xiaoyang, it's the onus of the buyer to ensure that all documentation is kosher - delivery date have a firm one, not a range; have an exit clause; accessories write down clearly and they must endorse; COE terms spell clearly; don't pay cash, write cheque to company not to individual; etc etc.

So much money floating around in a transaction don't leave a lobang that will tempt them into taking advantage of you.

Most importantly - if you don't understand or are uncomfortable, dun be pressured to sign immediately. think carefully first...... dun like me kancheong spider everything just sign

But I must say this thread was rather enlightening but what you said is very true, always worth the extra effort to research and be thorough with your paperwork because dealing with PI is really not a straightforward thing. If they are genuine they will understand your thoroughness, if they are vindictive, they'll say anything to pressure you.

SQ, my fren had a terrible time. It is up to him to come out and say it if he wants to. He DID NOT ask me to defame on his/her behalf. Besides, I am not out to defame. Just cant stand the way they do things and as such would like to warn other would-be buyers to avoid this particular PI. If warning others is seen as childish and absurd, then I am truly sorry. Please forgive me. I am only 16yrs old this year and I do not know better.
