Its Official!! Stage Stage 2 RE Trackday June 10th ~ Full Day Event

No offence intended in any way but was hoping that the title for the tread be changed cause i feel thats it may be abit misleading to some of the members as they may assume that its goin to be a track session just for rotary powered cars exclusively.
As for cars entering the track, the processing time for the cars should be faster cause there seems to be lot of delay. Check if the driver does have a tag and then ask if he/she needs an instructor. If a particular car has been penalised or does not follow the track regulations they should direct the car to the side where someone will be waiting there to clarify the issue, instead of the having the marshall deal with both sides.

Was talking to sgrenesis and wondering if it's going to be organised the same way like the last track event where the Rotaries are grouped together and can only run on the track when it's our group's turn? Like that not very flexible leh, cannot "own time own target". Heard that even when it's our turn to use the track, still got other cars from other groups still lingering around on the track a few extra laps. Then what's the point of the grouping?

Ok, I will discuss with the event organiser about this... But there will definately be groups but perhaps we can organised it better where you can only be on track when its your group turn. I see if we can organise a session for "own time own target"... then you can track with other cars during this sessions.

a question for those who attended e last RE track day
e groping, sorie i mean grouping mentioned in e earlier postings, starts off from a line up at e grid? or from a queue in e pit lane?
in any case, both e above will still cause a pile up especially e first scenario, not dat i'm complaining! In fact i love starting from e grid!!!
if grouping required an entire car group to vacate e track before another car group can enter, alot of precious time will be lost and it's gonna take pretty good coordination to pull it off
And even with e best marshal you will still get an arsehole who thinks he can squeeze another lap in!!!
OTOT with sgtrackies and traction circle has work well over e years and i rarely encounter any pile ups
if e organiser wanted to spice things up, we can always have a couple of 3 laps or 5 laps CCT at pre determined timing through out e day for those keen petrol heads!
in fact grouping of cars of e same performance type is morely to cause a jam because only skills seperate them where else a mix car group will allow more factors to space e cars out.
as for open track days, pile ups are far and few between
it's more like trying to keep up with e stripped out EK, EP, CRX and e infamous wira/satria-loution
