Maybe shadow is from rival garage... nevermind him as we know what MG is capable of.
I would like to ask if the LTA has the equipment to check whether our ECU is remapped??? U know especially during the 3rd year car inspection.

muscleman, I'm not in any way flaming you, but when have you ever seen the vehicle inspector at VICOM or AA connect any diagnostic cables to your car during inspection? I don't think they even know where your ECU is located, so put your fears to rest. If anyone is really scared of getting caught, then better just take public transport. Singapore is really a FINE city... and we all know it.

For fan control, wat it does is, the ecu will be set to kick in ur fan earlier.... resulting in lowered temperature. For eg, maybe factory setting is for fan to kick in at say, 95deg...... this tuning sets the fan to kick in at ard 85deg... thus lower temp = better cooling for engine, as echoed from flyer's thread.
All these achievable by tuning ecu.

The fan control is good. I have a fan controller to turn it full blast before I go onto the track.
I love to remap my unit!

I have been to MG, and the people over there have done their homework. There may be other workshops i can go to, but i still choose MG. Most impt is that you are comfortable with the people who handles your ride. I feel safe letting them handle my ride. jus my tots.

what about the ecu for Mazdaspeed Limited Edition Version 1, which Mazda has tuned up the engine using it's exclusively designed PCM (Powertrain Control Module) to match the modified intake and exhaust systems of the Mazdaspeed Version....
