Thumbs up Latest Mazda Recall - Your LTA Feedback Needed!

Dear All RX8 Owners (PI & MM),

Recently, we have read the link and notice (Mazda USA) pertaining to some problems cause by the engine. Understand none of us heard anything from our Dealer/Agent assisting us in this matter. I urge you to do your part by submitting your feedback and concerns to LTA to assist us. Below are the links to LTA (feedback) & link (forum) pertaining this matter. Appreciate if all owners could consider this and submit your portion to LTA as well.

Myself and another have already submitted. But we need the numbers to seek LTA's immediate action to get all the dealers/agent in the loop for a solution.

Alvin, i think LTA shut down e feedback site after 12midnite, try between 7am-10pm it work.

I belive LTA will look into this recall seriously as the recall header state that EMISSION related.

All 8 with e steering problem should gather & write to LTA also as seen that a manufacturer fault & e fault will cause danger to u & other road user

With the help of LTA toward MM or PI, the action will be faster since e recall is EMISSION related, US only take around 20days to start action, in S'pore if we don't take initiative it might take longer time

Well, not true sir..if theirs, is the action will be prompt. But anyway if u guys dun feel safe can still write in to LTA. One more thing, U.S. production and asia market is different..Singapore cars will only be affected if the problems is being recall in japan not U.S.

Thanks,

Jimmy

Hi Mr jimmy, tks for your's attention in this matter as WOW is a major PI in S'pore, i sold my car to WOW when i brought my DC5 from LECO.

As for 8 sold in US, Euro, Aust, Latin, S'pore or JDM(S'pore) , e major different is e ECU flash, all e engine, mechanical & electronic parts in e car engine bay should be same if u having 4 or 6 ports model , & this recall will deal with engine flooding problems also which some JDM 8 in S'pore already have this problem, which i already solve mine.

I deleted all my other message that r not related to this thread

No worry...As our promises is that if there is a recall. We will defintely take immediate action and attention. There simply no reason for us to run away from it cos we are World Of wheels.

Thanks.
