morganoh..

i noticed in the picture of the rear view of ur car, that u have installed a reverse sensor or is it a camera?

the reason i asked is bcoz i want to install reverse sensor at the similar position as what u have done but the mechanics were worried that the sensor may be pointing at an angle towards the ground and may sense the ground instead of the rear obstables.

what's ur view on this?

I had install both a front view and rear view cam.

I use it when even I do parking, cos some of the road curbs in Singapore are much higher than the car's bumper.

A 7inch LCD is also install on the center console.

Hi Peter

No not related, I'm just lucky, cos I found someone selling his "ET" plate number from the papers when I bought my Proton, and just when I'm about to buy the mazda, saw the same number with "ES" on the papers.

Hi Tan280,

I spend around close to $4K

picture of the 3 musketeers, that will be

king105,

if u are going to change yr 16" OEM rims, don't look at 17" for the 8 lah.
it doesn't really match lah.

majority of us go for 18" and some of us already regretting never get 19".

come to our meet and you will know what i mean.

Hi BlackEight,

Thanks for the advice..Well, I guess it's a subjective thingy.. Having only sat briefly in the MM test car (I refused to sign the indemnification form) , the impression is that perhaps 17" would be 'more' comfortable (wife/kids).. the jury is still out though.. Still mulling over..

When is the next meet? I thought of hanging out only when mine is here, but perhaps I should advance my addiction

Cheers.

I do not know the brand and if theres 17inch. I bought it from my family friends shop in AMK Tech park 2,Blk 5034 #01-33 Johnny Tire. 64823931

I believe that ride comfort should be the same for 17 and 18 inch.

IF its 19 - 20 inch, then there may be a diff. especially 20 inch. Will damage the rim if u run over a curb or hole in the road at higher speed.

I'm aware of that.

I ask again... Why is it on the HOOD? Jetpilot has nothing to do with cars and its brand has no place in nearly foot-tall letters on the hood of a car.

Or should I put "EPSON" across the hood of my car since I happen to have an Epson printer? Printers have about as much to do with my car as surfer-wear. Or maybe I should put "POLO" or "SEAN JOHN" across my hood, if we're staying with the clothing theme.

Jesus!

Why not on the HOOD?
U can hav anything on the car. its a personal preference.

Why Theres HP on F1 cars? cos HP is one of the sponsor there's a HP computer in the Car.

Why JetPilot? Becos a JetPilot is the Sponor of the car (the owner) and there's a Jetpilot in the car that controls it .

I'm a PILOT.
does that ans your question.

Thanks for your input. I forgot that we aren't supposed to be critical of anything on this forum, just lick each others' boots and go WOOT whenever someone posts pics of their ride. I'll remember that in the future... If someone posts pics I'll just say "great lookin' ride duuuude", no matter how odd it may look.

If the Jetpilot company owns or sponsors that car, it absolutely answers the question.

Your being a pilot doesn't answer the question, however. I am a pilot, too. I don't have this decal on my car. The reason I am familiar with the Jetpilot company is because one of my pilot buddies had one of their stickers on his car... So this is not a new phenomenon to me. The SIZE of the phenomenon is a new one to me, however.
