Yup... the car is new... Perfect interior, body 'n' engine bay.......Has done bout 6k kms (mileage was 5600+ when i bought it.... genuine) ...... I'll try to upload photos of hose clamps tomm.
BTW, if u look at ur 8 engine bay around bout the area in between the Spark Plug cables and the oil filter.....but closer to the strut towers...... ud see 2 hose clamps, one red, one blue......... Well, the red 1 keeps popping out...... Has happened twice already today...... once while i was driving, the other time after i took it out for a short test run...... During test run (driven very slowly to avoid high preasure situations) everything went well, but after parking it in my garage.....about 5mins later (engine off btw, but hood open cause wanted to give it a good look) the hose popped out again ) ...... ARGHHHHHH .......... Maybe shud mod this hose n clamp........

effie, just now when i wanna reply u i was wondering wether i should say bro, or sis. lol
ok seriously. 1st i think you should stop starting the car already. please ask someone to toll it to amoil. this is where my sifu fix his car. or u can ask your car dealer to take care of it if its under warranty, i am affaird it will accidentally catch a fire. but i think its a small problem, but due to its highly dangerous. i suggest you ask someone to do it for u.
1st, icheck if the pipe end like the one i post? is the clip still there? you need to remove the clip and clip it back properly. i guess your clip is gone right?
2nd can you identify where is the hose located in the engine photo below?

Boy,
The MR2 Turbo has more torque than the RX8. If I'm not mistaken the MR2 has 31.0 kg-m/ 4000 rpms vs the RX8 (both Auto and Manual) of about 22 kg-m/ 5500 rpm.
It's just that the MR2 rear is heavy and it takes a little more to swing out the rear, but once the rear is out, an earlier countersteering is required to drift it

Want to know if something similar like this has happened to u..... If so, how did u rectify it?

i am not very into drifting. know a bit about it through a video game D1 grand prix , PS2. well we drift in a parking lot too. so prolong drift is a bit hard. even feint drift is a bit hard to do. possible though.

the setting i had for the car is
F -1.5
R-1.3
caster 6.1
toe 0
and actually my settings were giving some understeer on the front tires....

from browsing the forum I found that the replacement moutings have a metal ring around it (with yellow dots) which someone has referred to as a heat shield.
anyways, what type of mountings do you have available? and are they in stock?
