The MG Experience
Dropped by at Monster Garage yesterday, and was definitely glad I did. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the car, and the service attitude. Spending just about 2 hours there, I felt like I've learnt quite a bit about the car. Thanks for sharing all the info!
It was also great meeting some of the other members in the forum, and be able to put a face to some of the nics. Now I gotta try and resist the temptation to do many many things to my car...

Hello Gerald
Glad to have met you as well bro. I for one can vouch for MG's service - it is always impeccable and top notch.
As for resisting the temptation - I was exactly the same when I first got my ride. I was adamant that I was gonna leave it stock and I resisted the urge for THREE whole months before I went over to the dark side
Feel free to come hang out with us at club meets bro and welcome to the club once again!

Yah, I think any garage should give free canned drink for every visit... doesn't cost much, but creates a lot of goodwill. We all very easy satisfied one.... maybe also a bowl of free mentos at the counter..

What I can say about MG is that they give a **** - which is nice for a change.
I recently went to them to fit some stuff in my car that I'd purchased from the US. I had asked if their left hand drive would make a difference to the parts and the Ang Moh's answer was no - that our engine bays are exactly the same. So stupid me actually believed them and went ahead with the purchase.
When MG fitted it on for me, they realised that some parts were pointing the wrong way and were obviously meant for a LHD vehicle and not a RHD vehicle. One quick phone call later from MG and the replacement parts were here the very next day from Japan. What more can I ask for as a customer?
Overall they are professional in the way they install things and are willing to go that extra mile to fix any problems. 5 stars!
p.s...some of the newer members would think that I'm an MG lackey - that could not be further than the truth. There was a time when Coupe07 (the part owner of MG) and I were, lets just say, not the 'best' of frens Of course that misunderstanding has since been cleared up and now - I'm happy with their service.
