I'm quite new to the idea too. But from what I read, ATF(auto transmission fluid) cooler basically cools ur AT fluid, making it last longer and makes ur transmission box cooler too. try reading this thread, found on the AT specific mods.

Thot not much to mod on an auto?
Things I am planning to do (in order of importance)
1. side strake + rotary accent (~$300?)
2. 18" Rims + tyres (nice looking can oredi... $??)
3. additional cooler (~$250)
4. rear spolier (nice looking can oredi... $??)
5. Sound system ($?? Not in a hurry)
No performance mod so think it will not be too expensive :p Save a bundle with a good deal from PI so got some spare change left
