New layer of clear coat possible?

Hi guys,

I just sent my car for polishing, for realized that the clear coat already got rain water marks etched into it liao. Very sian to see the uneveness under the street light every night.

Is there a way to respray a clear coat and get that glossy new feeling again, without resorting to a full strip and respray? Looking for a reputable spray workshop to do the job...

Yes it is possible to have a layer of clear coat, or commonly call lacquer on your car. Most paint shop can do it, and of course the 'thicker' the layer, the more expensive is the price. It usually range from $500 to over a thousand, depending on what u want. The adv after coating is the pollutants will 'eat' and 'destroy' the clear coat instead of the paint. As to where to do it, pse check with those reputable spray painting shop.

Cheers

the shop name is TCL spray paint.

His name is Ah Long.

he is dam good in workmanship but you need to give him time cause he is dam busy.

Price needless to say quite expensive but i believe it's worth the money if not Lambo and Ferrari won't let him spray rite

Venue is 2nd floor above the Lambo showroom in Pandan area.

Thanks Bro! That's quite near my house! Hearing that they spray for Lambo and Ferrari makes me nervous about the price they charge... I've a feeling that it'll cost about $1k just for the clear coat!

if it is clear coat only, any place can do..... end of the day, just make sure the surface is free from dust.....
