is this a manual rx8? how come only used 4 gear?
what u changed in the car? how come 20 hp difference?

one is Hp another one is torque...

see the top hp reach at 6500 rpm,so no need to rev so high to 9000rpm...can get 197.4 was nice ler..

i got one friend who change air filter and ecu, and one without doing any mod, all stock... the one who mod, always got alot problem... maybe engine will merderka soon...
the one without doing any mod, like normal car we drive, nothing happen at all...
haha...

not bad ! 4th gear only can go till so high...
anyone here got 6 speed automatic? wanna see the zoom zoom of dyno...
haha

That was the dyno for 6MT. The got the dyno results from using up to4th gear. No need to use 6th gear to get max hp readings

Normally 6 speed gearbox will use 4th gear for dyno, while 5 or 4 speed will use 3 gear......

Warm, your car hp has diminished at the end, did you had any exhaust mod??

Guys,

Been a while since I last visited this site. U guys been chatting tons. Anyway, need info. Any of d 8 out there that the smoke for the exhaust mainly comes out from the left exhaust, instead of from both? + Any that the rear signal lights been "flooded" [water entered and now they (both of mine) perpetually fog] and solutions instead of changing new?

Appreciate the response... Cheers

Mrhjb, go to Wangan Racing and ask for slight mod on the rear signal lights.... Get a second hand ori exhaust to test it out..... Maybe your fibre are burned...

Hi lenon, it peaked at 7500rpm, you mean its supposed to be higher at 8000rpm?

My dyno chart was climbing straight to 9500 rpm (that was b4 turbo conversion) with fujitsubo exhaust..... I saw a lot of dyno chart shows that RX8 peaked at 7500 with ori exhaust.....

Kanasai, i heard your exhaust sounds very different from the rest..... If you don't pass 200whp then something is wrong...

i think if u do any mod to ur RX8, u need to sacrafice ur RX8 life and short the life of apex seal... even change exhaust or air filter also will affect will hav alot of problem...

interesting, so what was yr peak level? the graf has to go down at some point. And at the peak, what was the hp figure?

if it was climbing up to 9500rpm as u say, then yr peak must be at least 9500 or greater.

Anyway, my car will rev cut at 9000rpm and so does other rx8s i believe.

for the record, please tell us, wat spec RX8 do u have? Auto? Manual? Etc...

Dyno result is 168whp at 3rd gear, around 135km/h (All RX8s were dynoed at 3rd gear at Links, so i did the same for easier comparison) .... 4th gear will get you to 180km/h....... I dunno whether mine has rev cut becos mine is Aussie version.... Izham b4 putting on Mazdaspeed exhaust oso peak at 7500rpm, after installing the power climb to 8500rpm (the dyno stop at 8500rpm).......
