New Memo from Japan - Part 2
Hi guys, this is a follow up on bro legendary thread.
Sorry for the new thread as I think it warrant some attention. Colleague went to service his RX8 at MM yesterday. He spoke to the service supervisor and it is CONFIRMED Mazda Japan has the memo NOT to use full Synthetic oil on the 8. Apparently the carbon 'deposit' from full Syn, if left unchecked will caused prob. So back to dyno oil (mineral) or Rotary oil (Trust, RE etc). MM is evaluating the possibility of offering RE oil as an option for servicing but dont quote me.
Another point to note. When servicing RX8, MM uses some steps to clear most of the carbon deposit everytime (he didnt say what) and hence ensure less prob. So those bro using outside workshop can check if they are able to clear or 'burnt' the carbon off. So latest is use only MINERAL or ROTARY oil.
Cheers
