Radio problems
Any PI RX8 drivers out there who have had a problem with the converters of the radios?? I get a cross frequency in a couple of places, especially when class 95 is on. Any ideas on how to fix this problems? Also the radio in my rx8 shows the frequency as 12Mhz lower, example 95fm is 83fm. Any way to sokve the radio problems??

PI is JDN Spec so the radio frequency is different between Japan and Singapore.....they use short wave!!
You just need to go to an audio shop and ask them to install a FM radio converter (~ S$120-$S$140) so that you can tune exactly to 95FM 98.7FM....etc.
For me.....CD and MP3 lead the way not my radio!!

the radio converter, there are 2 types.
1 made in China, the other made in New Zeland.
Needless to say the better one is from New Zealand.
Even with the better converter, you will get interference in town for eg.
If u have a Radio frequency CD changer, it is even worst.
u have to switch off the changer before u can get a better signal.
I can recommend 2 experienced auto accessory shops that specialise in PI cars.
One of them is located in Paya Ubi 03rd storey I think. u can't miss it. only 1 shop on that floor, look for tay.
The other is SWT trading, located at Blk 8 Sin Ming Dr. Look for Andy.
You can also check some rx8 websites,
they have the various original headunits with longer frequencies which u can order.
Maybe after changing the headunit or RF converter, u might want to consider adding an electronic antenna to boost the signal.

If it really irritates you, swap out the audio system for an export model stereo (if u want to remain OEM)... I think canzoomer and a few others sells them
