great idea. Why didn't i think of it. Such a great idea makes SUV redundant.
Back to topic; i had installed one on my civic 7 years ago. And i did have a little problems with it sucking water. BTW mine was custom made by myself as there were no such kits then.
The worse problem was the time when chinatown was flooded and i drove through. Engine nearly died.

I've read that the air duct has small holes along the base of the 90 degree curve to separate water from air to ensure only cool air travels up to the intake, not a bad design really. However, some interesting threads elsewhere about increased heat at low/standard revs. Have to really push 'er to get any real benefit.
