If u are tall and plan to go to sepang, then must buy a chair with low profile rails. cos it will increase the distance between your head and the roof.

for me I'm 1.77 m and got to sit slightly forward (seat lower) leaving a gap between my back and the car seat cos there no room between my helmet and the roof .

use non-slip mat... it helps...
or the seat "cushion" the one for the waistline type...

think a few of our guys have it...
used to help someone to keep one in my car after last sepang trip.

can't choose? why?
anyway, why dont you put out a thread to see if anyone wanna swap with you. maybe someone out there wanted the brown badly.... so you can swap out the whole coloured area from chair to door panels.

I thought the airbags processor is under the driver seat? If change to sparco seat then no more airbags already.

Unless you can take out the processor and transfer to the sparco seat. but the original seat also got weight sensor. Don't think that can be transfer right?

wa you should try bucket seats if you have not. it's a luv affair after tt, superb grip, handling plus 100%. if not for the lovely seats rx8 provides (esply the rotary crest), i would change to recaro. was not use to the seats initially, to the extent of developing back aches initially. if only the rx8 seats provide more lateral support. not sure why they didnt. even the legacy GT provides quite good seats.

however, stephy's suggestion of non-slip mat sounds like a good option tho.

Yes theres an Airbag in our original seats. (if your car is bought from Mazda Motor)

I was worry that if I unplug the cable under the seats it will prevent all the airbags from working.

Miki Market told me that they can insert a resistor onto the cables under the seats, so that the The rest of the airbags will not be affected.

Body moves in a corner.. I find it really annoying... I sometimes have to use my left hand and hold onto the handbrake to keep my body stable.. This lovely handling car really needs bucket seats...

I am also thinking on changing... Wait till my budget frees up...

My only qualms is loosing the automatic controls for the seat
