Angry Scratches & Dent to your RX-8?

Hmm.....

Some of the top few most afraid things aobut your car are:----Accidents, insurance, dents, installment, ERP, Servicing, Bird *****, car wash .... etc.....

What are yours?

I got my first Big "Dent" on my RX-8 even I parked carefully between pillars 90% of the time!!!!!

I wanted to express my views of inconsiderate Singaporean drivers when opening their doors careless after parking.

This usually caused dents and scatches to the vehicle parked beside. Why can't just they watch out for the car beside and open doors with care.........

Even when I last time drove my old car, I always considerate and open doors with care not to cos damage to other vehicles.......but yet ppl............. aiya.....

Imaging all your new RX-8 just bought and parked beside one of this ppl, and you will get your "DENT"

You buy a new "Mercedes Benz" very soon you will call it "Mercedes Dent" !!!!!!!

SingRX8 - sorry to hear that, man! At least dings are easily removed, but scratches needs repsraying, and yours being the pearlescent white...that sucks big time!

These jealous a***holes should all have their hands chopped off...

Fab8, how much is the cost of removing one 50 cents size dent?

Is the job done a good job, and how fast need to wait? pls advise me

----------------------------

Actually for those ******* who got no car or lousy car and get jealous over others who has better............... KAMA will get them!!

Is not the right thing to do man.... no ethical, because those who drives a nice car might be earning hard to pay for it, and for those who's family are rich to pay for them, their parents also hard earning money...........

agreed??

Hope the world can be better!!! siah..........

Well PDR will work for the doors. BUt the rear doors is quite hard, unless we remove the door panel.

Another issue are the loose rocks on the road. Pay road tax and get lousy roads. Already got a few stone chips....

Gravity, first ding is $35 if I remember correctly. Two dings for $50. Results are pretty good. Can't see where they were after treatment.

As what UG said, rear doors are pretty tough. I think they also can't really do those near the edges.

In future, we should see if we could do a group discount with the PDR's guys. Going in as a group with the same make of car could be alot more less work for them. So we could do a meet-up *** get the car fixed altogether!!

Not yet.
Next week for sure, but not sure which day yet.
On monday, they will be towing the car out of the port to the showroom, I think dru8999's will be together as mine. Give them a couple more days and should be able to get the car by the end of the week.
So, are you gonna be at the meet-up this coming weekend? Check my post on the Feb meet-up.

Hi, M-ster's and mine car r in port now. Was told that the only hurdle now is the LTA's inspection. Was advised that LTA now approved the dark quarter glass and is wondering how accurate the info is. Hope to get the car by this week so that I can appear at the gathering with my 8. Really can't wait anymore as it is agonizing.
