Hi all, just came back from a track session last month. Did a 2.56.305 there. i don't know if i beat the 2.56 posted by current9 but thats not my point.

quite puzzled with this....my 2.56.305 was done when the car has its suspension and exhaust done. But prior to this, i did a 2.58.4xx on total stock condition. The car felt better in stock condition. it was predictable, no flat spots, car behaves like a spring chicken always wanting to go.

But after modifying, and getting better timings, it just feels different. comparing stock and modified, the stock settings is actually easier to drive. I don't know how i will fare if i were to go back to my stock settings. Maybe thats how good the car comes stock standard. Modifying it may give better response and better timings but it kind of takes away the smoothness of the driveability.

anyway, 2.56.305 for me. i wonder who else has been to the track and got better timings. share knowledge ok. Lim Tan motors told me a few rx8s have been going sepang before my track session. This car pretty hard to mod. Do a lot....but still same power and shave only that little bit of time. geesh...maybe stock really that good.

yeah, i know my timing is pretty slow as compared to many other cars. that is why i want to check the timings for stock car and modded cars. i am sure that there are much better drivers out there who are doing much better timings.

stephy, what is DNQ group? you mean normal street cars can take part in the race but will go under the DNQ group?

yeah.....thats a really quick car.

glock8....are the cars running in the timesheet all running using the same specs? the timings really fast man. The lesters and desmonds will be doing 2.30s on average on their all out track cars. VERY impressive timings from the satrias
