Speed Metal Anyone?

Er,

Went to the carnival today. Only saw a product called speed metal dat bought some interest from me.

Its engine oil actually. Have seen it in a couple of adverts as well.
Top of the line is 300K and second is 200K and something else, i cant remember.....

Anyways, saw the tests and they were quite positive. Minimum bar was 2.5kg and temp only rose to 115 max during high RPM runs (7000-9000RPM). Its fully synthetic too with Militec technology (wadever dat is, i have yet to find out..) Some bonding **** wif metal thingy one la, gd for car.....

Its price is comparable to HKS at 135$ 4 litres for 300K. 200K is 120$ 4 litres. Maybe i will buy for next servicing and try.

Unless some of ya have tried? Oh, one more thing the tests were also compared with 2 others - Mxxxx and Cxxxxxx. :D SM came out top. Well on paper dat is...

Unproven, unknown product. Best steer clear especially for a high performance engine like ours.

I wouldn't mess around with engine oil. Normal cars don't inject it into the engine and have to scrape up the remaining mess from the walls of the motor like the rotary does.

Hiya,

I switched to using Trust F2 for Rotary Engine. I think the price is 137 for 5 litres.

The feel is much better, the oil pressure is now least fluctuating while idling.

Bought the oil from Autobacs in Bt Batok. cannot remember the viscosity though :p. Currently in Thailand...so cannot tell on the extended usage of it.

But driving it for one day, really much better the Castrol. At least now my oil pressure hovers around 2 bar. Last time, the car idles quite rough, and oil pressure drops to 1.5 to 1. The whole car shudders.

Will report more details later, but next week will be in Philippines... so my friend is enjoying my car instead

As for what is the different between F2 and F3, don't know leh..anyway got F3 for Rotary one meh? I only saw F2 for rotary only.
