I find it difficult to believe that after 4 days nobody has reported any problems with their rides, especially when you consider that this is a first year vehicle. Is Mazda design and quality control that good? I hope so! :D

Perhaps they're all stuck at the side of a road awaiting assistance?

Someone who got to test drive an 8 said the air conditioning was underpowered and doesn't really cool the passenger compartment. Any of you driving in hot weather? Did you experience this with the AC?

I test drove a black one in Houston a few days back - outside temp about 90F (32Celsius) and very high humidity and the car doors had been left open for an hour in the heat. The AC was perfectly adequate - just like any other new car. Love the round vents - like Alfa Romeo.

I saw the black one last night too at Haas. However they had sold the car right before I got there, so i didnt get to test drive it....the black is sooo smoooth but i still have to see the titanium. The A/C was ok....nothing compared to my camry...lol

Love the tach and digital display (ie BMW) :D

Takahashi - have you ordered a car and if so where from? I have been told my car is arriving next week which is almost too early for me (want to wait for more reports from others and better lease rates to appear).

I actually preordered a red touring (cloth) 6spd at Joe Myers in Houston, but I never put the downpayment down. I got all the free stuff from mazda but I really thought my car wasnt gonna come in. I get this call a few nights ago saying that my car was in....I was just shocked...I totally didnt expect for it to come in; however, I did get to see them at Joe Myers. There were 4 cars that came in on thursday (blue GT + nav, red touring, red GT, and silver sports)
