Suggestions for police...
What rule would you like changed or enforced by the Police?
Mine: Make road hogs as guilty as the (dangerous) speeding offenders.
Personally, I think there are a lot more road hogs than there are (dangerous) speeding offenders since they force us to the other lanes to overtake. They should get the summons/tickets too.
The most basic rule in driving is: if you're driving slower than most, move to slow lane. I am not sure what school of driving these people went to or what (shortest) book of driving rules they read from....

I agree a 101%. IMO they cause more harm than speeders.
And its usually more dangerous to overtake them. If they want to save petrol and **** people so much; they should take public transport.
Some of these idiots do not even give way to emergency vehicles.

Ban little old ladies who drive 20 MPH under the limit and have to look through the steering wheel spokes to see the road. I see this frequently as I have a seniors rest home just down the street from where I live.
Honestly, if you're too scared to drive, take the bus. :D

I think once you hit 62.5 you should give a dexterity and visual acquity driving skills asessment evaluation every two years. I can't count how many times one of these oldies have taken me out AND then blow their horn at me as if I'm to blame.

Slow can be subjective.
Perhaps we could learn something from the germans. Its is deemed road hogging if you have more than 3 cars behing you when you are on the overtaking lane.
Not all old people drive slow; maybe most do but not all. Basically its the attitude of the driver that matters. But one thing i notice alot is that most taxis like to road hog.
Can someone start an appeal to increase action against road hoggers. The last time we had a anti-road hogging campaign was almost a decade ago.

Another thing that PEEVES me lately are "crash bars" or "crash bumpers". It is illegal in Singapore because "they can aggravate injuries to pedestrians in the event of a collision" and there are no large wild animals running across the roads in Singapore that could seriously damage the car in event of a collision. However, I have seen so many SUV wannabes with front crash bars and a large number of Matrix with rear crash bars. I'm quite sure if they are involved in accidents, the risk to pedestrians and damage to other cars will be more severe than to their own. Anyone with comments on this issue?

I think these road hogger's stupid logic is: fast lane isn't really called a fast lane... its the longer distance lane.
So if you are going from Changi (Airport)... the bloody taxis esp. to Jurong... you are certainly entitled to being on the ("fast") or their "long distance lane" regardless of their speed or 16,084 cars overtaking them on the slower lane. Otherwise, I am not sure what other reasons they have to hog the fast lane. I pray to god that one day the cops will pull a cab over for road hogging and this word gets around their taxi community and thus forcing them off to their shorter distance lane.
Lighting a candle for this hope as we speak.

Some of these idiots hog because they cannot go fast, have nothing urgent to do and plain selfish. So why should people go faster when they can't. Anyway this is quite typical of singaporeans. Just how prevalent it is.
These taxi drivers just don't bother. They think they are always on the road so they "own" more of it than others. Or they are more experience than the most experienced educated driver or any race driver there is. I cannot believe why they sometimes even think they can out turn, out brake or out rev me? (not hao lian but obvious right?)
And i thought the taxi companies are supposed to be fined when they exceed a certain number of accidents a year. And we see taxis in accidents so often. 2 taxis hit me last month. Another hit dollygirl, that already makes 3.
