In Thailand...
Hi all,
I'm new here on the rx-8 forum. I'm Brazilian and live in Bangkok, Thailand. I wish I could find a place to buy Rx-8 without taxes here, because the taxes here on imported is just so damn high. Anyways, a nice country located in south-east Asia with good weather, good food, and nice beaches too. Bangkok, the capital city, is a cool city for racing as there are no speed limits. You can just race down at 3 AM on the highway here, reaching some 230 km/h. That is definately fun.
So anyone here owns a Rx-8 in Thailand?
:D

Was in Bangkok during 7th to 10th August and saw a fully kitted Pearl White RX8 waiting to make a right turn from MBK Ctr to Siam Discovery Ctr. Wanted to say Hi to the driver but changed my mind cos I didnt want to frightened him. Observed the car from above the overhead bridge and u know what, the traffic was so heavy that day and i thnk he was stuck for at least 15 mins just to make that turn. Bet he could see the fuel gauge going down!
