Hi ALL the 8,

Some question:

I GOT 2 SETS of 18" RIM from Taiwan (is on the way back to SG by ship)

Which set of RIMs look better on sliver 8

1st one look like the new rims from mazdaspeed for the rx8. 2nd one looks very much like stock 18in OEM rims.....

go for the 1st one, since theres only these 2 choices

Yah, i agree...the 1st set looks really like the new mazdaspeed rims...but i
think the 18' stock rims looks better than the 2nd set...i woud go for the
1st set...

Ya agreed.... now they send me 1 more design, but 19" x 8.5 and 9.5 (see attached picture)

But anyone can help to to find out the Size of CENTER BORE ?

114.3 is the PCD

The centre bore is 67.1

I would go for the first one.

Yes... agreed... (look like stock rims but better offset)

My partner is in Taiwan for business and we know the rims supplier. He will help us to choose...

Hi,

I confirmed my RIM from Taiwan and ship together with my container (freight cheaper that way)

I hope this rim fix my car.

- size 18" x 8" for front
18" x 9" for back
- PCD 114.3
- Center Bore 67.1 < or more is ok, can fix ring is bigger
- E T: +18-+42 offeset

Any expert here can help??? The rim OK??

different people have different taste.... cos the same rim like my other car...

Yeah.. i guess we have TASTy and Tasteless....

Was looking thru some rims today at Paya Ubi. Set my eyes on a set of 18'' SSW.. chrome, multi-spoke. (Taiwan)

Damage: $250/rim
Tyres: AD07: $235/tyre

Comments?

Not for track usage, wonder if itll be suitable for point A to point B.. how durable is taiwan rims anyway?

PS: Stamford (SSW) buys in bulk and emboss their brand.. thats all.

Dun think the rim look so bad lah...but still prefer the 1st set though...
think the 1st set looks more stylish...

Actually, I heard a lot of horror stories regarding taiwan rims...hears that if ur
unlucky, u might actually wind up wif rims that has micro-scopic cracks on them
n it might juz break into 2 when ur cruising...saw an accident veh that make a claim saying that that was wat happened to him...

But then again it is all hearsay...if stamford tyre r willing to buy them n use it
under their brand name...i supposed it shld be quite alright...dun think
stamford wld risk their reputation...
