-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The basic original mazda body kit include
1 x front skirt
2 x side deflector (not the full one only half the size)
2 x under deflector

Mazda selling for $1416
GR selling for $1570

I did not bargin with GR. maybe they will give discount? if GR give 10% discount then their price will be lower.
Hi Morgan,

Think we share the same taste, I am also looking at the same set of bodykit exclude the "WING" (too loud). I just booked my RX8 from PI today so likely will get it by end April. So if you need bargaining power at least we have 2 sets here yours and mine. Let me know if you keen on getting them we can order together to get a better price.

What is your color ?

Thanks

My color is RED

Actually my main motives will be to make my car as "loud" as possible so that it would be eye catching in the road.

Therefore I had the intension of instaling a body kit and having it respray to a 2 tone Orange and REd color.

"Loud" cars also attract the wrong kind of attention and I'd rather not have to follow TP to Eunos, hor Linus? :D Personally, I prefer to be a sleeper, both in car and in real life too... ha ha. Look stock but stuffed full of surprises... Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Loud = special or different "design" or diff outlook.

no modification on the engine or exhaust.

So I guess its ok right? I believe that they will only require the driver to go for an inspection if the exhaust or engine sounds different from a Stock car.

Stock + Road block = wave thru...

Loud + Road block = pull over, open bonnet to check no illegal mods, take breath analyser test, check driver's licence, check insurance, etc...

Basically, you can get away with more if your car looks stock. First impression is very important, remember? But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong (ala Dennis Miller) :D Personally, I think the RX-8 is already very chio and unique enough, but it's definitely nice to personalise your car. However, to what extent is purely up to you. A few innocent looking mods/add-ons is good enough for me. Too fierce or too loud and it tends to attract unwanted attention. There are always people out there with green eyes who might vandalise specially nice looking cars.
