sounds like it's going to be a great wedding. too bad will be in bangkok. anywayz, dun think the others will hv wedding ribbons but think the groom's car might hv. heard u hv to stick the ribbons properly otherwise will scratch the car. maybe the others can advise you on how to stick. dun ask me, just advising frm wot i heard.

Can I come too? My car stays at Kampong Arang so its very near by for me. Also, what sort of walkie talkies do you guys use? I only have a set of old Motorola Talkabouts - will it work?

I'm sorry for the getting back late on the time schedule for the wedding day. I'm getting a little stressed up with some last minute wedding preps.
Anyway here's how it goes: -
JULY 1ST 2006 (Saturday)
- 0845hrs (Sharp)
Convoy shall meet at LAKEPOINT CONDO at the void deck of BLK 10 Lakepoint Drive, along Corporation Road. You guys can either park at the visitors' lots or just park along the side of the very wide main road from the entrance leading all the way to Block 10. I will inform the security guard on duty that you guys will only be there for a short while. I will then proceed to distribute packet drinks(soya bean, since it's early morning) and the 80pcs of wedding ribbons for all members to tie onto there car handles. (Don't sue me for scratches hor! )
- 0915hrs
Convoy heads for Raffles Hotel. I will be driving the wedding car myself and I will follow the team leader from behind
- 1000hrs (???)
Reach hotel...enter by Beach road main entrance and try to fill up the open-air parking lot to the max...once full, the other cars are to proceed to the Seah Street parking lot.
Once my car is parked, I will follow my other gang of friends and relatives to pick up my bride...sorry bros...the hotel will not allow a 40-man "fu tou pang" up to their suites, due to privacy issues concerning other guests.
In the meantime, you guys can start to "bai zhen" the cars for photo-taking and also have tok-**** sessions around the hotel. Those who are tired may also choose to end their convoy duties for the day.

I will be back at the front entrance with my beautiful bride to take pictures with TEAM RX-8. (Hopefully not all are gone by then )
1045hrs
We will then head to our new house at EVERGREEN PARK CONDO along Hougang Ave 7. For those who are hungry for more convoying excitement, please follow us there.

Convoy officially ends at Evergreen Park.
