With or Without a Bodykit?

With or Without a Bodykit?
Had a conversation recently with a stranger at a car grooming centre while waiting for our rides to be washed...he was of the opinion that "sports cars must have a bodykit to look nice" - "boh bodykit buay swee". Just curious to find out what everyone thinks/feels about kitting up their rides...so I'm gonna start a poll for the fun of it.

Lets be more realistic about it, 90% of us choose e 8 for 1 main reason, which is e LOOKS! So, it goes to show tat we r somehow or rather concerned about e shape and exterior attraction.
Tat means, if there is spare cash and deep pockets one should/will go for bodykits to give e 8 a cosmetic touch up. On other note, some might just appreciates e stock look on e 8.
I personally will kit my 8. just waiting for today's ToTo group 1.....

yeah man...very subjective indeed. i consider this kit nice and simple because it complements the lines of the car and doesn't look too complicated or bulky, even if major work is required. there are some out there (i'm sure you've seen plenty) that make the car look like something else altogther, very 'pai kuah'...

RX8's outlook itself is fierce enough compared to most cars BUT when u parked beside the rest of the 8s during meetups u may find something missing if ur ride is stock.
Juz my 2cents of thoughts.
Cheers!

Grand Chancellor
the 8 looks great without any kits. Alot of bodykits ends up making it worse. I like the ones that are offered by the dealership. I think it was called the Performance package with sideskirts, rear and front lips. Maybe a tasteful trunk lip. Big wings don't look nice on the 8 because the rear is already raised (or look raised).
