Stock 2009 RX-8 R3's HID Low Beam spread from 30 feet.

The stuff above the headlight are called "squirrel finders," used to illuminate signs. Not all projectors have this, and most recommend to keep this feature.

I'm thinking about doing a lens swap as I'm not happy with the clarity.

Bulbs are Philips 85122 (Genuine).
