I have an EcuTek flash on my Evo. In fact, since I just added a 3" downpipe and 3" high flow cat, I'm bringing it back to Gruppe-S on Friday for another dyno tune and reflash. I've been really happy with it and the tuner I go to loves it also.

I guess instead of better I should have said more user friendly... If you live next to a tuner the Ecutek is great, and Gruppe-S is great to deal with.

And you're right about the Accessport. Mike @ Gruppe-S was telling me he prefers it above all else when tuning WRX's and STi's.
BTW...A couple Evo guys I know have been spending their money on something called ECU+ lately. Apparently it hooks right up to your OBD3 and you and friend riding shotgun can tune the car with their software on a laptop while you're driving around. I know that's not really a new concept or anything, but I'm assuming by the popularity of this new ECU+ that it's more affordable than the earlier technology.
