09-10 BMW 5 Series....WOW UGLY!
Out and about in my 8 today I noticed this BMW alongside of me...
Was the new 5 series GT...I can't believe HOW large and UGLY this thing was..
IT IS HUGE, the rear end was tall and heavy, lines and curves going in EVERY direction....massive wheels and tyres.
What an abomination...
What do you guys think?
Same car and colour of this pic..

lol...I know what you mean...
The pic does not do this car justice, IMO far worse in the flesh, it REALLY is a Heavy/Tall looking car.
Kind of reminds me of a BMW 'SUV' on small wheel rims (18-19inch).

The way the back hatch goes over the rear tail lights (as if to cover part of them look), HOW can any designer make it look like it does?
IMO the #1 Ugly rear end of any car in the past decade, it makes a Ssangyong look good!

yeah it's amazing ppl gave bangle sh-t for his polarizing design, so they ditch him and then they design this piece of crap. give me back bangle any day!
photo actually doesn't look terrible, but i agree in person it's way worse. and i don't get the point of it. sedan, wagon, or x5, how the hell is there a market for this thing??
and fwiw, the x6 is the opposite, don't like it in pictures but on the road, with the huge 20's and 305 tires or whatever they come with...damn that thing is a beast!

The trend these days is to move sedan with the traditional boot/trunk towards these slope-y back design.
I believe this to accommodate family growth.
See that Accord Crosstour thing. Hideous. We have traded what is sleek for bulkiness.
