1 less 350Z, 1 more RX8

While showing off my car at another Mazda dealer tonight (they hadn't seen one with the app pkg) a guy drove up in a 350Z. We talked a little while about both cars. Long story short he HATED his 350 and wanted to get rid of it after only 3 months. He took the RX8 for a short test drive and bought it on the spot!!!

I got a good look at the Z again and know I made the right choice.:D

We had a similar thing happen while I was talking to some salesguys at Jim Ellis. They told me the story of this guy who is coming in to trade-in his 350Z. I half-believed it until, 10minutes later, I see it pull up. They are going to kill him on resale, but I guess since the 8 is cheaper he might be okay.

????

Edit: Stopped by my dealer today and was telling him the 350Z story. He said they had 2 come in a few months ago one with 650 miles and the other with 1200 miles. Both were traded in on Mazda 6's

I've never driven a 350 but it sounds like it wouldn't be very...accomodating as a daily driver. Could be a fun project car...

G35C sounds more up the daily driver alley, just sounds a bit more chunky and not as tossable as an 8 to me. Maybe I'll test drive one next year but as is now they're out of my price range.

im going to be on the same boat soon. :D seriously, i got my Z 2 weeks ago and I already like the 8 better. Maybe I should have waited for 2 more weeks

If any of you hangout at the Z forums, you'll know the Z is full of problems. And the transmission grind is the worst on my list. It's so loud you can hear it from a block away when shifting in 2nd.

Btw, I'm new here and this is my first post. Even though I own the Z, I plan to make this place my home now. No bashing on me please :D

One more thing. I liked my RSX better too :D

Welcome !

Over here, Nobody gets bashed here unless they make some really really stupid comment like "you made a big mistake with that colour", or "Automatic are for losers, etc etc".

The thing I found about this forum is almost everyone here are very mature and all of their comments are very constructive. So welcome to the forum.

Hmm, how do you find the tiny little rear windshield of the Z ? I sat in the one and I just cannot imagine how can I drive it on the road and see the cars that are behind me properly with that tiny view !
