11k redline, when do i shift

First of all, congrats on your bike. I had a gixxer 600 that had a redline at 15K RPM, and if your bike is anything like it, it'll probably not have a lot of guts between 3-6K RPM. Shifting anywhere in that range or below is probably going to have your motor bog. I would take it easy without revving the **** out of it until it's broken in. What you want to make sure, as with breaking anything else in, vary your RPMs as much as possible. You can roll up your upper RPMs, but just don't whack it open.
