1930s Duesy Model Js sold at auction
the 1930ish Duesenberg Model Js straight eights are one of my favorite cars ever. when i was like 6 i knew what these cars were and even had a Stright eight t-shirt

The Sedan went for $1,750,000 well over the estimates and the 'vert went for $800,000 which was the lower end of guesses.

Yeah they were amazing cars for the time, especially the engines. I'm about 2 hrs from Auburn, IN where they were made and where the art-deco factory still stands as a museum and support center for owners. Seeing them in detail is amazing, hearing one run is an auto cocaine high!
