And yes, I know that SUVs are incredbly popular, high-margin vehicles. But there are so many different models out, and they're all practically interchangable . . . that's gotta kill some of the aforementioned margin.
As every new one that hits the road, it's that much more difficult for everyone else to drive.

really crappy engine, why not the 'new' 3.5 from the malibu.(still 50hp less than the same size modern engine)
The honda V6 (3.5 250 hp) is coupled to a honda transmission in the VUE.
why bother?
Maybe GM will put the 'new' 3.9 V6, the one with cylinder shutoff, it makes 240hp. in a few years.
