the back look so awesome reminds me of a s 15. but when i see the front i just want to ask waht the designer was thinking. i know they had to use the company front. i cant wait to see waht kinda of front facia that aftermarket will come up with. even though i never liked veilside stuff, i really want to see what they come up with also.

Most of it, I do know a couple of parts are diff and even improved from what I can see in pictures.
Remember the 4B11 motor was a joint venture between hyundai mitsu and chrysler, thast why its called the world engine

Liked it as a concept and I still like it as a finished product. RWD FTMFW!!
That's my question, which will be answered by a test drive - will it be a typical Hyundai interior that is meh at best and comes with so much noise that I feel like I'm in a vert even though it's a coupe???

Actually, I can live with a Meh interior.
Everything looks good on paper.
I want a test drive.
I want to know how it feels, how it handles, how balanced it is.
Because face it... we are spoiled with the RX8. Its hard for anything else to FEEL as good.
And that is one area that Hyundai could have completely gotten wrong... everything else aside.

^^^thats what im scared of, how it will feel
I know that people praised the genesis sedan when it was about to come out but once people started testing it they said it left a lot to desire from the suspension.

if the coupe turns out well, it will be hyundai's second car that has positive attention with the sedan... I have actually seen two genesis coupes on the road, actually probably the same test car from the local Hyundai design and test center in irvine, as both cars were yellow.. they looked real nice running live on the street... Fairly aggressive look and nice lines overall.. havent seen the interior yet, but as people have posted, for a 20K car, they probably are trying to make it look real nice

IMO Hyundai has to offer more for less if they really want to step up in market and bring in new customers. All this while maintaining a solid quality and maintenance record.

I guess I am the only one that thinks this just looks like garbage. At best a re-styled Tiberon.
Look they lowered and put 19's on a Tiberon:
You just get a rear spoiler with the Tiberon

the front end is the only strangeness it has but to tell you the truth its not BAD looking. Every time I see pics of it I like it more and more. Yet maybe it will be something like the 370z where I saw it in person and went BLEH. Not really that impressive (maybe it was the color though). I cant wait to see this one in person.

I like the rear of the car and the profile is not bad. Even though I'm not interested in this car, I'm hoping Hyundai does well because we need more affordable RWD performance cars in the US!

Personally, the tib was/is one of the few cars on the road that looks to at least be an attempt at differentiated lines. Everything else looks exactly the same, only slightly wider/longer/fatter when side by side. (See: G35, G37, Z, New Altima, etc. etc.)
