Not the type of car that Im into, but it looks better than the old one imo. and somehow they were able to solve the torque steer problem in high torque FWD cars. also worth noting is nissan's decision to not include automatic tranny, but only uses CVT or manual.

Looks like a G35. I don't get the whole Altima/Maxima/G35/M35-45 thing... Four very similar cars (M to a lesser extent). I often wonder if they'll just drop the Maxima at some point figuring that someone who wants to step up from the Altima will just go to a G35. Now that the cars look so much alike, why not.

im not looking forward too much when the housewives start driving these 270hp monsters and doing their crazy agressive manuvers, cutting people off while talking on their cell phones during grocery runs.

the ratio of I4 vs V6 is of course very high. i think the official stat is somewhere around 8:1?, but because the altima is such a high volume selling car, I still see plenty of SE out there on an average day. maybe its the area I live in?

The Altima drivers were buying on price and looks and couldn't afford the V6. The Camry drivers are more interested in some boring appliance and don't really care about the V6. Either way its the same result. Boring 4 cylinders.
