I hope his parents learned a lesson from this. You don't give kids fast cars! I doubt he's getting another one.

Sure hope that's true, that'll make one less annoying kid in fast car to worry about...too bad kids still think they're better than the next guy.

Another reason to require proper driving schools, and better standard for giving license instead of "I learn it from that guy who only crash twice last year". And I still don't understand the "you can drive at 16, but you can't drink until 21" thing.

If I were his dad, I'd welcome him back home first day out of the hospital then kick the crap outta him and send him back.

Sure as hell hope his parents learned something too. Not to mention a total loss of $30,000 + enormous insurance hike.
