Acura TL- A Spec (not 56K friendly)

Looks absolutely GORGEOUS (except for the seats), I'd take this car in a heartbeat.

Yeah it's a beauty except for the seats and the steering wheel. The exhaust tips should be on an RX-8 (thet have that rotary look).

If it was a rear or all wheel drive, it would be in my garage right now.
I had the type S (last body style) and really loved it.

I looked at this car b4 buying the 8. Looked gr8, the seats in the one i saw were normal, 270hp, but there were a few problems. It is FWD, it is not too quick, 0-60 in 7.2, it is heavy, and the handling wasn't too good. I took the 8 cause it was much sportier and i think it looked better, but it was close. It is an Acura/Honda though so the transmission was excellent. It is more built to compete w/ the 330 than be a real sports car.

I read at Edmunds.com that the next generation Acura RL will still use a V6 but have 300 horsepower and AWD.

If they did that to the TL, even if the price went up a few thousand, I think it would be a huge hit.

I can go down the street right now to my local Nissan dealer and buy anything I want from the Nismo catalog.

Isn't the 'officialization' s going to make it cheaper?

I think it is official. Both my home town and college town Nissan dealers carry the Nismo line and neither are in a large town. It's just that Nissan it's selling any Nismo cars in the states let.

Some mags had it tested at 5.7 from 0-60? but I couldnt agree, it's 700lbs heavier than my former 03 Accord and only 30 H.P. more.Even with the additional horsepower, that much weight kills it. plus the denial of rear or allwheel drive took the sails right out of it for me!
